When should I winterize my system?
In Ontario, sprinkler systems should be blown out and winterized in the fall before the first hard frost — usually around October — to keep pipes and valves from freezing and cracking over winter. We book up fast in the fall, so it's worth scheduling early.
Do smart controllers actually save water?
Yes. Wi-Fi controllers like the Hydro-Rain HRC400 and Hunter Hydrawise watch the weather and automatically skip or shorten watering when it rains, so your lawn only gets what it needs — healthier grass, less waste, and full control from your phone.
Can you fix a system you didn't install?
Absolutely. We repair broken sprinkler heads, leaking valves and busted pipes on existing systems no matter who installed them, and can add zones or heads to fix dry spots and improve coverage.
